Data Product Manager, Investments Data

Responsibilities

• Own the data product vision and roadmap for assigned investment data domains, aligning with Data & AI strategy.
• Partner with Investment and Operations leadership to translate business objectives into actionable data product initiatives.
• Lead discovery and requirements sessions to define product capabilities such as gold tables, APIs, and semantic layers.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and ship scalable pipelines using Databricks (Delta Lake, Spark, Unity Catalog).
• Establish data quality standards, SLAs/SLOs, data contracts, and reconciliation controls for critical datasets.
• Drive automation of data delivery workflows to reduce operational risk and improve reporting transparency.
• Manage the product lifecycle using Agile methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data product management, analytics, or leading data platform initiatives.
• Deep knowledge of asset management investment data, including deal pipelines, trades, and holdings.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
• Proven experience with modern data engineering patterns, including ELT/ETL, data modeling, and orchestration.
• Strong expertise in Agile project management and delivering iterative software/data products.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in SQL and comfort reading Python code and pipeline logic.
• Experience supporting AI use cases, including LLMs and agentic workflows.
