Data Product Manager

Clarasight is building the leading AI-Powered Mission Control for Corporate Travel. Some of the world's most recognizable companies rely on Clarasight's software to reduce risks, save costs, protect revenues, and manage emissions aligned with business objectives and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Own the third-party travel data landscape strategy, including flight, hotel, emissions, and market intelligence.
• Conduct hands-on technical evaluations of data sources via API reviews, sample analysis, and schema assessments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data vendors, managing escalations and triaging data issues.
• Reconcile delivered data against contracted specifications and SLAs.
• Prepare technical and financial groundwork for vendor negotiations and renewals.
• Build and navigate relationships across the corporate travel ecosystem, including TMCs, GDSs, and booking tools.

Requirements

• Deep experience in the travel industry (TMCs, GDSs, OBTs, or travel technology providers).
• Hands-on experience with APIs, flat files, ETL concepts, and data schemas.
• 3-7+ years in data product management, data partnerships, data strategy, or vendor management.
• Proven ability to navigate large partner organizations and secure data access.
• Experience applying AI tools to data evaluation, enrichment, or automation.
• Experience in early-stage startup environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial negotiations with technology vendors.
• Familiarity with data privacy and compliance (GDPR, PCI).
• Background in B2B SaaS or API-based integrations.
• Experience working alongside AI systems and applying human judgment to automated outputs.
