Data Product Management Director – India Lead (Finance)

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data product strategy and roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities to drive transformation and automation across Finance.
• Establish and scale data governance, quality, lineage, metadata, and controls frameworks.
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, focusing on automation through AI tools and high-quality delivery for global stakeholders.
• Act as the single point of accountability for India-based data product delivery, optimizing capacity and productivity.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of data product managers, analysts, and specialists, driving performance management and talent development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, risk partners, and technical leaders to socialize data enablement capabilities across the enterprise.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data product management, data management, or leadership roles.
• 10+ years of experience within the financial services industry.
• 4+ years of experience in a management or leadership capacity.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in data governance, metadata, lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Proficiency with technical tools including SQL, Informatica, Collibra, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Strong experience in data mapping, profiling, and enterprise data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record in automation, AI/analytics enablement, and productivity improvement.
• Experience with enterprise finance data systems and architecture (e.g., FDLZ, MOSART, Hyperion, OLAP).
• Experience building or scaling global capability centers or India-based delivery hubs.
