About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of the Group’s GDPR and Global Privacy Strategy.
  • Manage third-party risks, including onboarding due diligence, contract reviews, and negotiations.
  • Coordinate risk assessments for processes using personal data and assist in risk identification.
  • Oversee Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and monitor performance against them.
  • Assist in managing Data Subject Right Requests and breach investigations.
  • Document business processes and maintain comprehensive records of data processing activities.
  • Advise employees and stakeholders on their obligations under applicable privacy laws.
  • Assist in enhancing the Privacy Framework and implementing privacy controls.

Requirements

  • Legal degree (LLB required; LLM preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data protection.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Ability to summarize and present complex legal topics in a clear, structured manner.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • IAPP certifications such as CIPP/A or CIPP/E.
  • Experience using OneTrust.
  • Experience working with AI privacy controls.
  • Knowledge of privacy regulations in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience managing business change projects involving people, process, and technology.
