Data Privacy Specialist

Responsibilities

• Act as a data privacy coordinator across all Lalamove markets to raise awareness and promote best practices
• Serve as the primary point of reference and advisor for data privacy subjects and queries
• Provide compliance advice to business and support functions to ensure alignment with regulatory and company standards
• Implement data protection measures and gather feedback on business support needs
• Monitor internal procedures regarding the collection, accuracy, retention, security, and transparency of personal data
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Compliance Program, including policies and procedures
• Assist with enforcement, controls, and audits of data privacy processes and SOPs
• Support Data Governance initiatives within the Customer and Employee Data domains

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in data privacy and protection
• Strong background in cybersecurity and risk management
• Knowledge of regional privacy regimes and international regulations such as GDPR
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and detail-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT certifications
