Amartha is a dynamic organization focused on driving security and privacy by design within product lifecycles and engineering processes. The Information Security team is a group of highly-analytical individuals passionate about being security enablers for the company's systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Data Privacy & Protection strategy, including policies, standards, and guidelines
• Design and implement strategy solutions adhering to best practices and compliance requirements (UU PDP, GDPR, etc)
• Perform gap assessments on data privacy and protection practices
• Interface with data subjects regarding their rights and data usage processes
• Define and manage Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
• Conduct Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIA)
• Develop and deliver data privacy and protection training and awareness programs to all stakeholders

Requirements

• 3+ years of related job experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Legal or a related field
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to express information clearly at different organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, FIP, or CDPSE
