About the role
About the Company
Sonio uses artificial intelligence to improve prenatal screening and diagnosis. Based on patented algorithms and a proprietary expert database, Sonio aims to become the reference tool to help practitioners improve screening, reduce diagnostic errors, and optimize pregnant women’s medical path.
Responsibilities
- Assist management in the strategic planning of information privacy and security policies and procedures
- Perform Data Privacy Impact Assessments
- Maintain the register of Processing Activities
- Review service or business contracts for appropriateness regarding personal data processing
- Participate in compliance projects to meet data privacy regulatory requirements
- Partner with the security team to review, enhance, and implement data privacy and security policies and training
- Assess ethics and compliance risks and implement localized compliance controls
- Ensure compliance-related issues are appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved
- Disseminate information and conduct training for the workforce
Requirements
- Legal background
- Knowledge of GDPR and HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge and experience in information privacy laws
- Project Management skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Proactive and able to lead subjects independently
- Fluent in English (written/oral)
