Data Ops Senior

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve data pipelines within a Data Centric architecture
• Automate deployments and operational processes
• Supervise data platform performance and manage production incidents
• Participate in DevOps activities involving Kafka, Kubernetes, and GCP
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability
• Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of existing solutions

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Over 7 years of confirmed expertise in Apache Kafka
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Monitoring)
• Advanced Kafka skills including partitioning, replication, tuning, and security (TLS, SASL, ACL)
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster management and application deployment
• Strong DevOps skills including CI/CD and automation
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python
• Knowledge of relational databases and security best practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Sprint Planning)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the retail/large-scale distribution industry
