About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement and continuously improve data pipelines within a Data Centric architecture
- Automate deployments and operational processes
- Supervise Data platform performance
- Manage and resolve production incidents
- Participate in DevOps activities involving Kafka, Kubernetes, and GCP
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or equivalent
- Over 7 years of confirmed expertise in Apache Kafka
- Operational mastery of Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proficiency in GCP services: GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Monitoring
- Advanced Kafka skills: partitioning, replication, tuning, and security (TLS, SASL, ACL)
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for supervision
- Knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management and application deployment
- DevOps experience with CI/CD and automation
- Scripting skills in Bash and Python
- Understanding of relational databases and security best practices
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Sprint Planning)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the retail/large-scale distribution sector is a plus
