Data Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for financial reporting systems and vendor tools to ensure accurate report generation.
• Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Partner with finance and accounting teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical reporting issues.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, variances, and process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain documentation for reporting procedures, controls, and technical specifications.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, and upgrade of financial reporting systems.
• Execute routine fund servicing transactions and collaborate with operations to streamline workflows.
• Monitor adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures impacting financial reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting and/or technical support roles.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, specifically GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency with financial reporting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Confluence/Unity.
• Basic coding knowledge, including scripting and automation concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to non-financial stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
