Data Modeler & Governance Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure data-related changes are designed, implemented, and governed effectively
• Provide technical stewardship over core applications, databases, and metadata
• Act as a key enabler for data quality, literacy, and accountability
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Data Engineers
• Conduct Data Impact Assessments and support change initiatives

Requirements

• Experience in Data Architecture and Data Modelling (ideally logical models)
• Proficiency in relational database design, SQL, and metadata management
• Strong experience in data stewardship or data governance
• Knowledge of the DAMA framework, specifically Data Governance and Data Quality
• Experience with data modelling tools such as SAP Power Designer
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work with varying levels of data literacy

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog
• Knowledge of Data Profiling and Data Catalogue Management
• Experience with DQ Issue Management and root cause analysis
