Data Mining Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Examine, interpret, and visualize trends in medical data to generate actionable insights
• Create, execute, maintain, and monitor SQL queries efficiently
• Optimize data within big data environments through query execution analysis and indexing
• Implement data normalization and denormalization strategies to improve system efficiency
• Evaluate and enhance data mining and enrichment processes
• Lead and manage small data projects to ensure timely delivery
• Collaborate with other departments to align data insights with organizational goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of expert experience with Microsoft SQL
• Experience with SQL in a Big Data environment
• Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical and pharmacy claims
• Database administration or database development experience
• Data warehousing experience
• Query optimization expertise
• Experience with healthcare data
