Data Manager - Senior

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage data, databases, and pipelines across the full data acquisition, curation, and preprocessing lifecycle
• Conduct regular Quality Control (QC) of data holdings
• Optimize data pipeline efficiency and performance across sensor modalities including EO, FMV, HMI, and SAR
• Lead and manage team members and provide technical leadership
• Maintain data dictionaries, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and software documentation
• Serve as the primary customer communication interface to relay tasks and requirements

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to obtain CI/Poly
• 3+ years of people management experience in team lead or project lead roles
• 4+ years of experience in quantitative analysis and data operations
• Proficiency in data manipulation, ETL procedures, and visualizations
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• Experience managing databases, data pipelines, and cloud architectures
• 2+ years of experience working with large, complex geospatial data files and formats

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Agile/SAFe methodologies
• Experience with NGA enterprise technology systems (NGA CORE, MLOps)
• GEOINT Professional Certification – Fundamentals (F)
• Experience with AI/ML technologies applied to geospatial data
