Data Manager

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and maintain well-governed finance data products using BigQuery to support fund management operations.
• Define and prototype fit-for-purpose data models while embedding documentation, data quality, and governance practices into pipelines.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements for the delivery of Data Products.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, including data classification, ownership, and access management frameworks.
• Produce essential artifacts such as Data Lineage, Data Dictionaries, Data Mapping, and Data Classification labels.
• Collaborate with business leaders and engineers to deliver secure, ethical, and actionable data products.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance, data product ownership, and metadata management.
• Hands-on experience working with dbt and BigQuery.
• Advanced proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with databases.
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques, specifically Dimensional Modelling.
• Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks using JIRA and Confluence.
• Expertise in using Collibra Catalog and managing business glossaries and data quality rules.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Collibra Workflow and Dataplex.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh or domain-oriented architectures.
• Familiarity with CDMC controls for Data Management and Data Quality Management best practices.
• Awareness of Power BI, Looker, or other data analytic tools.
• Domain expertise in asset management, fund accounting, or private credit.
