Data Management: Instruments and Pricing

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial market and instrument data across Prescient systems
• Utilize ETL technologies and workflows to deliver daily, monthly, and ad hoc solutions
• Operate instrument valuation models for pricing OTC instruments
• Analyze inputs and validate outputs of instrument valuation models
• Analyze and validate the quality of financial market data used by the company
• Execute and enforce data governance policies for pricing and instrument metadata
• Maintain metadata within Prescient’s core accounting system

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in the investment or financial services industry in a related role
• Solid understanding of financial instruments
• Strong Excel skills
• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or Commerce

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the setup and/or pricing of financial instruments
• Technical aptitude for working with complex systems and data-driven tasks
• Ability to manage tasks with high levels of detail and precision
