Data Management Co-op

Responsibilities

• Support metadata and taxonomy implementation via the D&A portal, MetaHub, and Privacy Programs
• Update the data catalog to support the Data Accountability Framework
• Perform outreach and reporting on MetaHub activities
• Review and update Data Access Control, Taxonomy, and Privacy classifications from AI outputs
• Assist in building reports, processes, and documentation to support data management practices
• Provide data analysis to identify gaps and provide recommendations for adjustments
• Support the migration of a Teradata database to Snowflake, specifically regarding data access controls

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from Drexel University with a cooperative learning track
• Available to work 40 hours per week for a 6-month period (September 2026 – March 2027)
• Experience with SQL and data querying methods
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong data analysis skills
• Ability to report in-person to the Philadelphia, PA office

Preferred Qualifications

• Major in Computer Science, Library Science, or Data Science
• Experience with copy editing, writing, and process documentation
• Demonstrated interest in data quality, data governance, and data management
