Data Management Associate

Responsibilities

• Increase and maintain the CMBS, ABS, and RMBS deal universe to ensure timely data extraction
• Perform data quality checks and execute resolutions to maintain high data integrity
• Lead or participate in quality and productivity enhancement projects using tools like Jira
• Contribute to ETL tool development, automation, and enhancement
• Utilize coding skills to query, troubleshoot, and analyze data, as well as maintain reports and applications
• Support deal structure set up for securitization transactions using proprietary software
• Collaborate with vendors, asset class desks, and client support teams regarding new features and market analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computing, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• Proficiency in data tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, VBA, or C#
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage workflows independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Structured Finance or Securitization field (RMBS, ABS, or CMBS)
• Additional professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, AWS, or advanced certifications in SQL and Python
