Data Management Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality of the data layer bridging databases and analytical tools
• Oversee the quality and efficiency of internal processes
• Execute monthly policies and procedures monitoring to enhance and simplify internal processes
• Verify data queries embedded in tools used within Moody’s Ratings
• Verify and enhance the financial models underlying Moody’s rating methodologies
• Track and document verification processes and support business/data requirements documentation
• Perform data and process analyses, presentations, and special projects as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM discipline
• 1-3 years of working experience (financial industry experience is a plus)
• Proficiency with SQL query writing in a relational database environment (Sybase or SQL Server preferred)
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following: Python, C#, Matlab, R, C++, or VBA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and a structured, systematic approach to work

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts
• Interest in exploring AI systems and responsible AI practices
