Data Labeling Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of a team of Data Labeling Specialists
• Own hiring plans, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and workforce planning
• Establish and track performance metrics, productivity benchmarks, and quality assurance processes
• Ensure precision in all labeled datasets, including imagery, video, and text-based annotation
• Proactively communicate with project leadership and technical teams regarding progress and risks
• Refine labeling standards and contribute to process improvements
• Develop team expertise in imagery analysis and annotation methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in data labeling, annotation operations, or related analytical fields
• Prior experience managing teams and direct reports
• Hands-on data labeling experience
• Experience hiring, onboarding, and developing employees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills
• Ability to work onsite in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India
