Data Integration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and optimize ETL and ELT workflows to integrate structured and unstructured data.
• Build and maintain data pipelines supporting cloud and hybrid environments.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, integrity, and interoperability across multiple enterprise platforms.
• Implement metadata management and data lineage capabilities to support governance.
• Design and maintain API-based integrations between various systems and applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and mission stakeholders to support USSOUTHCOM intelligence missions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field (or 5 years of equivalent professional experience).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.
• Demonstrated experience developing and managing ETL workflows.
• Proficiency with Apache NiFi, Databricks, and SQL-based data warehouse technologies.
• Experience with API development and system integration.
• Strong understanding of data architecture and schema management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Experience supporting Combatant Commands, the Intelligence Community, or Joint environments.
• Experience with cloud-native data platforms and analytics services.
• Familiarity with knowledge graphs, data catalogs, and metadata management platforms.
