Data Integration and Automation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Define, modify, and implement playbooks, automations, and custom integrations across SIEM, SOAR, and ITSM platforms.
• Develop scripts to automate security tasks and normalize fields between security event sources.
• Maintain and develop use cases within orchestration tools to enhance detection and data enrichment.
• Provide technical support for development incidents and generate internal technical documentation and procedures.
• Implement refactoring and optimizations to improve system performance and security.
• Collaborate with other technical groups and areas through regular meetings.

Requirements

• 2+ years of demonstrable experience developing use cases within SIEM -> SOAR -> ITSM architectures.
• Proficiency with Google SecOps, Jira Cloud, Big Query, and Looker Studio.
• Strong experience in scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash.
• Experience defining and using REST APIs.
• Knowledge of detection and threat rule meta-languages such as YARA-L, STIX, Sigma, and YAML.
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices, including continuous integration and code reviews.
• Higher vocational or University degree.
• Advanced or native Spanish; advanced English is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SIEM solutions such as Sentinel, Chronicle, Splunk, XSIAM, or Elastic.
• Knowledge of data visualization and discovery systems like ELK, Google Datastudio, or OpenSearch.
• Experience with databases and general cybersecurity principles.
• Proficiency with version control tools like Bitbucket or GitHub.
