About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Geospatial Digital Twin programme by defining and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and processes
- Establish and document data governance roles, including data ownership, stewardship, issue management, and change control
- Identify and catalogue critical data domains and support the development of data dictionaries, business glossaries, and metadata
- Manage data quality by defining rules and KPIs, performing profiling, and tracking remediation actions
- Coordinate master and reference data management in collaboration with Data Architects, GIS teams, and enterprise system owners
- Ensure compliance with data protection, privacy, and security policies by embedding governance requirements into solution design
- Prepare data governance documentation, guidelines, and training materials for client stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in information management, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in data governance or information management for large-scale digital or enterprise solutions in infrastructure, utilities, or urban environments
- Experience establishing data governance concepts to support Esri ArcGIS implementations
- Strong knowledge of data ownership, stewardship, quality management, and metadata management
- Understanding of geospatial, time-series, and asset/network data architecture
- Exposure to enterprise and operational systems such as EAM/CMMS, ERP, BIM, SCADA/IoT, or GIS
- Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with national infrastructure owners, transport authorities, or utilities
- Professional certifications in data management or governance
- Proficiency in Arabic
