Data Governance Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Support the enterprise data governance framework by ensuring consistent execution of policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor governance activities and facilitate the adoption of tools such as Collibra and Ataccama.
• Oversee data collection for lineage activities and coordinate implementation within Collibra to ensure accurate data flow representation.
• Translate business rules from data stewards into technical data quality rules within Ataccama.
• Enable end-to-end data quality capabilities, including rule configuration, exception workflows, and monitoring dashboards.
• Collaborate with the Data Quality squad to define requirements and validate rule logic.
• Provide business requirements to technical teams and define Jira Epics and stories.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related disciplines.
• Proficient knowledge of data governance tools, specifically Collibra and Ataccama.
• Expert-level SQL skills for data profiling and validation within Snowflake.
• Proficiency in building Python automation scripts and data pipelines.
• Strong experience building executive dashboards and scorecards using Power BI.
• Deep understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
