Data Governance

Responsibilities

• Define and implement data governance and quality frameworks aligned with corporate best practices.
• Advise Data Owners, Data Stewards, and IT teams on data quality, integrity, and security.
• Establish data governance policies, standards, and processes.
• Collaborate on the definition of business rules and functional/technical data definitions.
• Manage technical and functional metadata, including data lineage, mappings, schemas, and catalogs.
• Define data quality controls and metrics.
• Work alongside architecture and technology teams within AWS environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Data Management.
• Proven experience with AWS analytics and data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK frameworks.
• Expertise in Data Catalog, Data Lineage, MDM, and data security.
• Ability to interact effectively with both technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lake Formation, Amazon S3, AWS IAM, or Amazon Redshift.
• Knowledge of AWS DataZone or similar governance tools.
• DAMA CDMP certification.
• AWS certifications related to Data Analytics or Data Engineering.
