About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise data governance models, policies, and standards in alignment with DAMA or similar frameworks.
  • Manage critical data elements, business glossaries, metadata, data lineage, and data ownership models.
  • Configure and optimize data governance tools such as Collibra or Informatica to support workflows and controls.
  • Perform data analysis using SQL, Python, and BI tools to support reporting and governance metrics.
  • Work within hyperscale cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) to support modern data ecosystems.
  • Develop process models and maps to document governance workflows and data lifecycle processes.
  • Leverage AI capabilities and agents to automate and accelerate governance, documentation, and analysis activities.
  • Partner with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure data quality and resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data governance models, frameworks, and processes (DAMA preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with data governance tools, preferably Collibra or Informatica.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis.
  • Experience with at least one BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker).
  • Experience working in a hyperscaler environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Proven ability to create process models and process maps.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply AI tools to enhance productivity and service delivery.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale data governance implementations.
