Data Entry Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry, quality assurance, and database queries within the integrated student information system.
• Manage applicant files and documentation to ensure timely progression through the admissions process.
• Evaluate electronic applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness using the AdmissionPros CRM.
• Create and maintain manual and electronic records to ensure all data is complete and up to date.
• Serve as a liaison with internal university departments to resolve administrative and operational matters.
• Respond to inquiries, receive calls, and check in visitors to provide general support to guests.
• Attend registration and enrollment events as required.
• Collect data for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Requirements

• Associate degree directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the role.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent proofreading and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Database Administrator Certificate.
• Familiarity with AdmissionPros or the Jenzabar technology suite for higher education.
• Experience in enrollment management or higher education administration.
