Data Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable data pipelines and structures to ensure high-quality insight generation and reporting
• Direct the maintenance and evolution of data storage systems, including data lakes and warehouses
• Manage and mentor managers and senior engineers, fostering high performance and career growth
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex data engineering initiatives, ensuring scalability and timeliness
• Drive CI/CD adoption and implement AI/ML-enabled engineering practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to refine data sourcing, processing, and acquisition strategies
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and information lifecycle management standards
• Lead DevOps teams using Agile methodologies to ensure adaptability in complex environments

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working within Big Data ecosystems
• 8+ years of experience in end-to-end data engineering and building reliable data products
• 4+ years of experience in project delivery management
• Proven experience managing managers and senior-level engineers
• Proficiency in CI/CD implementation and Agile delivery frameworks
• Experience with enterprise data lake and data warehouse platforms
• Deep understanding of architectural design principles and patterns
• Experience handling large-scale, complex enterprise initiatives
