Data Engineering & BI Lead

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize scalable data architectures (Data Lake/Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Marts) for operational analytics, BI, and ML/Gen-AI
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Data Engineers and BI Developers through code reviews and sprint planning
• Define and supervise automated ETL/ELT ingestion and transformation pipelines with high observability
• Design pipelines for fine-tuning, RAG, and LLM inference, integrating Vector Databases and Generative AI APIs
• Establish coding standards using Python/PySpark, SQL, and Terraform
• Implement Data Governance, quality monitoring, lineage, and compliance (GDPR)
• Promote a data-driven culture by presenting roadmaps and analytical storytelling to stakeholders

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, including leadership of teams or complex projects
• Solid experience in ETL/ELT processes, dimensional modeling, and advanced SQL
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark and familiarity with Scala and testing frameworks
• Knowledge of Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) and RAG principles
• Understanding of LLM fundamentals (tokenization, embeddings, fine-tuning)
• Experience with Data Observability and Data Governance frameworks
• Proficiency with orchestration tools and containers/Kubernetes
• Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio
• Advanced English proficiency (required)
