Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize enterprise data warehouses and architectures
• Implement ETL processes to integrate, clean, transform, and load multi-source data
• Manage the full BI reporting lifecycle, including requirement gathering, metric definition, and dashboard visualization
• Use Python or Java for data development, scripting, and optimizing data processing workflows
• Provide data consulting and technical support to business departments to drive data-driven decision-making
• Monitor data quality and establish validation mechanisms to handle data anomalies
• Collaborate with overseas teams using English for technical documentation and cross-regional communication

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in Data BI and Data Warehouse development
• Proficiency in SQL and mainstream databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or Hive
• Proficiency in Python or Java for data processing and ETL optimization
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or FineBI
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Kettle or Informatica
• Knowledge of BigQuery ecosystem is a plus
• Professional English proficiency for reading technical documents and cross-departmental communication
