Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, onboard, and integrate complex data products from diverse vendors to meet stringent research and trading requirements.
• Design, implement, and optimize production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines to transform raw data into analysis-ready datasets.
• Engineer and maintain automated validation frameworks to guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of all datasets.
• Provide operational support for data pipelines, diagnosing and resolving critical issues to ensure high-availability data flow.
• Participate in team rotations and on-call schedules to maintain the resilience of data systems.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using Python.
• Familiarity with technologies such as S3, Kafka, Airflow, or Iceberg.
• A strong commitment to engineering excellence and pragmatic technology solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
• A desire to work in a dynamic, operational role at the heart of a data-centric enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial markets and experience with large financial datasets.
• Proven expertise in handling high-throughput, real-time market data streams.
• Experience working with hierarchical reference data models.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark.
• Operational experience supporting real-time systems.
