Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines to support AI banking initiatives
• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare and transform data for model training
• Develop and maintain data lake and data warehouse solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms
• Integrate data from core banking systems, digital channels, and external sources
• Optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency
• Support real-time and batch data processing using modern data frameworks
• Implement data governance policies and metadata management

Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of experience in data engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Science and Engineering
• Google Cloud Certified – Professional Data Engineer or equivalent certification
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with Big Data tools such as Spark or Hadoop
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data
• Understanding of data governance and security protocols
