About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Write advanced SQL queries and scripts to extract data from multiple sources including Blackbaud CRM, NetSuite, and MailChimp
- Create and maintain data models and ETL packages to feed various data destinations
- Apply Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for scalable data lakehouse development
- Develop automation tools for end-to-end processes from source systems to destinations
- Pull data from REST APIs including HL7-FHIR, XML, and JSON
- Perform data validation and execute testing plans to ensure data integrity
- Implement and enforce data security measures within the Data Warehouse
- Write technical documentation for all data processes and pipelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field
- 5+ years of extensive ETL/ELT building and monitoring experience for data warehouses or data lakes
- Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and MS Azure SQL database
- Experience with MS SSIS and Medallion architecture design patterns
- Experience using Bitbucket for source code management and version control
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Factory
- Knowledge of Python, C#, or .NET
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
- Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Shopify, or NetSuite ERP solutions
- Experience in Healthcare or Princess Margaret Foundation Information Systems
