Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work closely with data scientists and engineers to define and create robust data architectures and pipelines
• Develop and manage scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
• Partner with stakeholders to translate company needs into usable data offerings
• Automate data processing and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and data integrity
• Implement data quality checks and monitor processes to maintain high data accuracy
• Enhance the accessibility and usability of complex datasets through data cubes and sharing solutions

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering, data science, or software engineering capacity
• Expertise in writing and maintaining robust data pipelines using SQL and Python
• Proven track record of turning stakeholder requirements into actionable technical plans
• Experience working with cloud-native solutions
• History of implementing and upholding best practices in data pipelines for accuracy and reliability

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related technical field
• Experience with additional scripting languages such as Java or R
• Familiarity and interest in the Twitch platform
