Data Engineer Sr

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative data solutions and robust pipelines to solve complex business problems using modern data platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain data modeling solutions and extraction, collection, and cleansing processes.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and facilitate seamless data integration.
• Lead all phases of analytics initiatives, including exploratory data analysis, preprocessing, and model deployment.
• Analyze and synthesize data from multiple structured and unstructured sources to uncover trends and recommend actionable improvements.
• Foster strong working relationships across business, IT, and analytics teams to ensure alignment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of progressive experience in data engineering, product development, or data governance.
• Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of database architectures and extraction techniques.
• Proven experience in data modeling and data governance to ensure quality and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or an equivalent analytical field.
• Advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in an analytical field such as statistics, operations research, or economics.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.
