Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and improve the complex IT landscape for sanction and transaction control
• Build and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient systems on RiskShield (INFORM)
• Adjust and create new rules within the RiskShield application to improve performance and reduce false positives
• Lead infrastructural and functional improvements within Transaction Filtering and Name Screening squads
• Automate deployments and processes to increase environment reliability
• Ensure regulatory compliance by implementing findings from audits and model validations

Requirements

• Minimum 2.5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Technical proficiency in cloud environments and automation
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Microsoft Azure, and Linux
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization
• Knowledge of security including Vulnerability Management and Azure Compliance
• HBO or WO level education completed
• Fluency in Dutch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time fraud prevention systems
• Ability to handle complex architectural challenges in a dynamic environment
