Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and operate data platforms and data streams for customers in energy, public sector, finance, and healthcare
• Perform data modeling, ETL/ELT, and integration (batch and streaming)
• Build and manage cloud-based data platforms in production environments
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and architects
• Ensure performance, quality, and robust solutions for client use

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with data engineering in production
• Solid SQL and Python skills
• Experience with data modeling and ETL/ELT in client projects
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience in consulting or similar client-facing project delivery
• Higher relevant education
• Proficiency in Norwegian (minimum B2) and English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Databricks
• Knowledge of Apache Spark
• Experience with data streaming (e.g., Kafka or Kinesis)
• Use of AI tools in the development workflow
