Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines in Snowflake using SQL and Python
• Support Python-based ETL workflows and migration from legacy tools
• Contribute to data modeling and ensure clean, well-documented datasets
• Support the development of Power BI and Streamlit data applications
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, testing, and documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile sprints
• Follow GitLab best practices including version control, code reviews, and testing

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related roles
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Working proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and modeling
• Foundational Python skills for data manipulation, scripting, and automation
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
• Basic experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Streamlit or Python-based data applications
• Understanding of SAP data structures (S/4HANA, EPM+, SAP Analytics Cloud)
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor
• Experience working within Agile methodologies
