Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the redesign of the data environment to build a robust, industrialized, and scalable platform
• Develop and stabilize data pipelines from ingestion to transformation
• Improve data flow quality, performance, and observability through monitoring, documentation, and testing
• Work with business and geographic data in collaboration with product and DevOps teams
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the data architecture

Requirements

• Bac+4/5 degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 4 to 5 years of experience in data engineering
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Expertise in ETL/ELT environments and CI/CD practices
• Experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS)
• Experience with orchestration tools, ideally Airflow
• Knowledge of GIS, PostGIS, or QGIS is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt or equivalent tools
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker
