Data Engineer, Product Data Development

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize offline and real-time data pipelines to ensure data timeliness and accuracy
• Independently manage end-to-end business requirements for the R&D design and construction of online product data pipelines
• Perform performance optimization to empower business growth through data products and services
• Utilize mainstream cloud computing and big data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, Flink, YARN, Elasticsearch, and Kafka
• Execute expert-level real-time big data processing using Flink and Flink SQL development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience independently handling end-to-end business requirements
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
• Familiarity with data warehouse modeling and experience designing or refactoring large-scale data warehouses
• Mastery of big data architectures such as Alibaba Cloud DataWorks/MaxCompute, AWS Spark, Databricks, or StarRocks/Doris
• In-depth understanding of real-time processing and expertise in Flink performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• IELTS score of 7 or above in all four components
• 3+ years of work experience in English-speaking regions
• Experience in cross-border e-commerce and multi-country/multi-language architectural design
• Solid foundation in Java with backend development experience
• Experience with Flink source code reading
