Data Engineer, Product Analytics

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and own data architecture for large-scale projects, evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs.
• Create and contribute to frameworks that improve the efficacy of data logging and work with infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to design scalable data solutions and represent insights visually.
• Design, build, and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations to support multiple product domains.
• Solve complex data integration problems using optimal ETL patterns and query techniques from structured and unstructured sources.
• Optimize pipelines, dashboards, and systems to facilitate efficient development of data artifacts.
• Influence cross-functional teams to identify data opportunities and mentor team members through actionable feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience where the primary responsibility involves working with data (e.g., Data Engineer, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst).
• 7+ years of experience with SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, C++, C#, or Scala.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. degree in a STEM field.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.
• Experience implementing responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk assessment and bias mitigation.
• Ongoing AI skill development in areas such as prompt engineering or agent orchestration.
