Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and scale data pipelines, warehouse infrastructure, and real-time ingestion systems
• Partner with Engineering, Risk, Commerce, Accounting, and Compliance teams to solve business problems
• Manage the orchestration layer and move data from operational systems to downstream stakeholders
• Contribute to architecture discussions and lead meaningful technical projects from design to rollout
• Maintain high standards for data quality, pipeline reliability, and documentation

Requirements

• 2+ years of production data engineering experience in a comparable environment
• Proficiency in Python
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS services (Redshift, Glue, ECS/ECR, DMS)
• Experience with Spark for large-scale data processing
• Familiarity with data cataloging and lineage tools like DataHub
