Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines
• Implement data integration, transformation, and storage solutions in cloud environments
• Participate in the definition and evolution of modern data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse)
• Collaborate with business areas to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, availability, security, and governance
• Drive best practices in DataOps, DevOps, and process automation
• Participate actively in projects using agile methodologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or related fields
• More than 1 year of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, or related disciplines
• Experience developing data solutions within agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
• Knowledge of enterprise data modeling and architecture
• Advanced SQL
• Python and/or Scala
• Apache Spark
• Airflow and/or dbt
• Experience with data platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift
• Cloud services, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of Data Mesh and Data Vault frameworks
• Proficiency in processing large volumes of data (EMR, Spark, Hadoop)
• Understanding of DevOps, DevSecOps, DataOps, and MLOps practices
• Intermediate-advanced English proficiency
