Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain data products on the Oerlikon One Data Platform (ODP) using Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Fabric
• Analyze business requirements and transfer them into technical solution concepts
• Implement data management solutions, including integration, transformation, data modeling, and storage on Microsoft cloud platforms
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for the data platform
• Ensure all developed solutions comply with security, data protection, and organizational guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certification in Microsoft Azure Data Factory and/or Microsoft Fabric
• At least 4 years of experience in data management or analytics roles (e.g., Data Engineer, Data Architect)
• Proficiency in data modeling methodologies, including normalization and designing entity-relationship diagrams
• Practical experience with DevOps principles, specifically CI/CD on Azure and GitHub
• Experience working in multinational and geographically distributed environments
• English language proficiency at a C1 level or higher
