Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver optimized, data-driven systems for enterprise-scale data
• Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and distributed workflows using Python or PySpark
• Integrate diverse data sources into unified platforms for analytics and machine learning
• Implement data orchestration using tools like Airflow within AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Apply best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and schema evolution
• Research and build frameworks for legacy-to-cloud migrations
• Develop automated frameworks for data cataloging and metadata enrichment
• Craft advanced BI accelerators and real-time semantic layers

Requirements

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering
• Proven ability to build, optimize, and deploy data systems in production
• Proficiency with Python and PySpark
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of data orchestration tools like Airflow
