Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and connectors to source systems
• Implement robust database systems for automotive knowledge storage integrating SharePoint, TrackIt, and external APIs
• Implement data warehousing solutions for advanced analytics and AI applications
• Optimize database performance and implement data quality checks, lineage, and data contracts
• Automate orchestration and CI/CD processes
• Integrate with cloud platforms including Azure, GCP, and AWS
• Develop API interfaces for AI agents and applications
• Establish data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with global regulations
• Partner with Knowledge Architects, Data Scientists, and PMs on technical milestones and risk assessment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4–7+ years of experience in data engineering delivering production-grade pipelines
• Expertise in SQL, database design, and optimization techniques
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks)
• Proficiency in Python or Scala
• Experience with ETL tools, streaming, batch processing, and IaC basics
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automotive industry data systems or BPO environments
• Background in AI/ML data infrastructure and knowledge management systems
• Certification in cloud platforms or database technologies
• Experience with multi-language data systems and global database management
