Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines across cloud platforms including Azure, Snowflake, and SaaS applications
• Support the development of scalable and reliable data solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams
• Apply problem-solving skills to improve processes and drive efficiencies
• Write and optimise queries to support business reporting and insights
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in processes, performance, and data quality

Requirements

• Practical experience writing code, with Python preferred (.NET / C# considered)
• Practical experience with cloud platforms, with Azure preferred (AWS or GCP considered)
• Practical experience with SQL
• Ability to work within a team and collaborate with stakeholders across the business
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand and commit to full-time work in Hawke’s Bay
