Responsibilities

• Execute the migration of governance tooling to DataHub on GKE (Kubernetes)
• Build and improve self-service tooling and CI/CD pipelines for independent data model deployment
• Enhance data observability and quality by implementing data contracts and monitoring tools
• Develop tools for efficient data collection, processing, and consumption
• Optimize GCP infrastructure including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, GCS, and GKE for cost and performance

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Backend Engineering
• Strong coding skills in Python
• Proficiency in Terraform and SQL
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, or AWS/Azure)
• Understanding of data orchestration tools like Airflow, Mage, Prefect, or Dagster
• Experience working in an event-driven architecture
• Engineering mindset prioritizing automation, testing, and reliability
