Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define the optimal architecture of the Data & Analytics platform
• Manage and monitor data pipelines to source and transform data
• Integrate and transform new internal and external data sources
• Deliver data provisioning to operational applications
• Optimize and expand data flows and data models
• Document detailed Data Engineering processes
• Assess stability, robustness, and efficiency of ELT processes
• Gather requirements and write technical specifications
• Ensure high data quality and consistency standards
• Resolve incidents related to data interfaces and ELT processes
• Investigate and implement big data capabilities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or Economics
• 5-6 years of data engineer experience
• Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling
• Professional knowledge of building and maintaining data models and data streaming
• Excellent knowledge of MS Azure and Lakehouse architecture
• In-depth knowledge or certification in Databricks (Spark)
• Expertise in system management including monitoring, disaster recovery, and continuous deployment
• Fluent English
