About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle unstructured data (documents, images, web content) into data lakes using Snowflake, Azure, SQL, and Python
- Manage and train Large Language Models (LLMs) for ETL processes involving large corpora of data
- Utilize Natural Language Processing (NLP) and REST APIs to extract structured metadata from unstructured sources
- Support data flow compliance with US and EU AI Acts, ensuring security and privacy of PHI
- Design, develop, and enhance business intelligence systems and data warehousing solutions
- Build and maintain software applications following the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Perform software validation through the development and execution of test plans and scripts
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Proficiency in SQL Server and Python programming
- Experience working with AI tools, specifically in data extraction or Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Snowflake cloud data warehouse and Azure cloud environments
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, or SSIS
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI for business intelligence
- Knowledge of C# or working with Azure data fabric
- Understanding of dimensional data modeling (Star Schema and Snowflake schema)
