Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage scalable cloud infrastructures and end-to-end data analytics pipelines
• Work cross-functionally with business managers, product managers, and data scientists to gather requirements
• Make strategic data architecture recommendations and implement data science frameworks
• Apply DevOps and quality processes to deliver and maintain production-level systems
• Implement and manage security in accordance with industry standards
• Document all aspects of design, implementation, testing, and release

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
• Strong experience with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure or similar)
• Proficiency with big data tools and large-scale reliable data systems
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Proficiency with R, Python, and Tableau
• Ability to work in lean agile scrum environments
• Readiness to travel globally

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem and Spark
• Experience with data ingestion, integration tools, and workflow management frameworks
